I’m proud to be the first to welcome you to fish in a bottle’s blog. Somewhat late to the party we may be, but having seen the line up I’m certain we’re going to make up for that by delivering inspiring content through this blog. Our mission is to share what we do, and perhaps more importantly, how we do it.
Over the past 8 years, we’ve been hugely successful as a digital agency specialising in interactivity and games. If I could sum up the essence of that success, I’d say it’s as much about how we do things as the quality of our output. When you truly believe in what you do, delivering your vision is instinctive.
Creativity can be chaotic. We embrace that and, at it’s best, it’s effective and very inspiring to be a part of. However, at some point organisations need to harness that creativity and build a structure around it; one that amplifies the process rather than stifles it. Our approach has been particularly successful recently , and is something that I’m personally looking forward to sharing with the world.
If you visit our studio, you’ll immediately sense that fish in a bottle is driven by positivity and a faith in the human need to interact with things that are pleasurable. We’ve worked hard to make sure we have the deepest understanding of that and our belief is that games and playfulness can change how people think and function for the better.
2012 is going to be a pivotal year for us. Our industry is growing up in tough times, and success is going to be about more than simply being good. We need to get from good to great. So that’s what our blog is going to be about: our journey from good to great.
Our mission has hardly begun, and this is where you’ll be able to read all about it.
